Devised and deployed cost reduction strategies including WAN bandwidth reduction, software standardization, and improved automation techniques utilizing technologies such as NetInstall. Designed intranet architecture based on collaboration tools (e.g., Apple’s WikiServer and Trac) that improved worker efficiency and enabled knowledge creation and reuse. Developed custom product extensions using Python, troubleshot server, network and virtualization problems in UNIX, Linux, and Windows infrastructure environments. Implemented web designs in standards-compliant (X)HTML and CSS code. Tutored a small team of designers on web accessibility and design with CSS, lead and collaborated with them on projects. Installed a development framework using Mac OS X’s bundled Apache web server (“Personal Web Sharing”) and OpenSSH SSH server (“Remote Login”).
